What do we do?

We wanted to share a little more about what we hoped Clover Hill Cooks Connection would look like.  We are not asking for any commitments from people.  We just want to connect with each other by sharing food.  The food could be a meal, a part of a meal, a dessert or treat-anything that might make a person smile and feel connected to our church family.  We really want to help out our friends on the prayer list first, and then spread out to our shut-ins, our elderly friends, or anyone who may be on your heart. 
 
We realize that this is happening some even before we talked about calling it CH Cooks Connection.  We just hoped by calling it a new program that more people would join in!  If you have a notion to share some food if you have extra and can’t think of someone to bring it to, please call Pastor Sarah or Jan Rhodes and they will give you some ideas.  If you would rather not deliver your food, call Sarah and Jan and we will see that someone helps out with delivery.  Also, we are keeping a chart of who gets food, so we can see who all is getting food and to share with as many as possible.  Remember, the main idea is to connect with others!!
 
In addition to that, our church has adopted 3 families whose children attend Ottobine Elementary School.  We have committed to bring each family a meal 1 time each month.  So far volunteers have been very willing to help out.  If you are interested in volunteering, please let Jan know.
